Crossroads

Something in the way that Ari Picker chose his passed away mother for his musical career is so full of love, that sort of disappearing love that delves both into the past and knows that it is always reaching the unknown. I listened to this song by the ocean as the waves broke against the coast, the air heavy against my eyelashes with flecks of shivering snow. It was as if the ocean meant to push whoever walked alongside into the distance into themselves, reaching starkly into that seemingly slight warm center, folding hands into pockets and shoulders together into that somber chest. Something in how that moment changed everything.
